Sofia Lois Monroe is a content producer and strategist with over 18 years of experience in film, digital media and television production. She began her nearly lifelong path in service as a young peer youth mentor to at-risk children. She committed to creating work and providing support for people and their purpose ever since.
Sofia founded Daymaker Productions in 2015. Her freelance and company experience includes producing feature films, viral digital videos, Emmy-nominated content, travel commercials, nonprofit content, award-winning short films, events and original comedy content. She has produced for federally funded programs and grants, live-stream red carpets and experimental branded campaigns designed for social media audiences.
Beyond production, she has played a key role in helping shape and launch mission-driven initiatives and programs - both in the U.S. and abroad-focused on education, mentorship, entrepreneurship and economic impact. Her approach is rooted in collaboration and a deep commitment to producing content and experiences that empower people and promote lasting impact.
In 2022, Sofia and Daymaker became a partner to A Mind’s Pursuit, where the roles she took on include that of Executive Producer, Producer and Co-Director for its mental health series, Chaos Controlled Podcast (Season 2). Working closely with A Mind's Pursuit founder, Mikey Tableman, she has supported the development of the organization, its strategy, creative development and team growth.
Her work continues to focus on meaningful collaborations and using storytelling as a tool for connection, education and positive impact-whether through media or community-driven initiatives..
